Effects of some additives on the magnetic properties of single stage hot deformed NdFeB magnets

The effects of the eight kinds of additives, such as Al, BN, C, MoS2, Si, Zn, oleic acid, and diethylene glycol on the magnetic properties of the single stage hot deformed NdFeB magnets had been investigated in this work. Among these additives, it was observed that MoS2 and Al were more effective in increasing remanence and maximum energy product, and Zn in increasing coercivity considerably.
