BIOLOGICAL APPLICATION OF SYNCHROTRON RADIATION: FROM ARTEM ALIKHANYAN TO NOWADAYS

Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics of RAS, 142290 Pushchino, Moscow region, Russia Abstract: Considerable progress in the development of structural biology me-thods has been achieved recently due to the use of synchrotron radiation. The purpose of this leaflet is to display a dual aspect of the field of biological and medical application of synchrotron radiation: first, some basic programs of structural biology, and second, programs aimed at medical applications.
