Comparison between circularly-polarized hybrid DR/conical horn and hybrid DR/spherical lens antennas in millimeter wave

Three dielectric resonator antennas (DRA) containing cylindrical DRA as basic structure, hybrid DR/conical horn antenna, and hybrid DR/lens antenna for millimeter-wave (MMW) application are suggested and compared with each other. It will be observed that the radiation and impedance performance of dielectric lens antenna is greater than it in horn antenna.
