Research situation of water flow in bend open channel

The research on bend flow in open channels includes the lateral slope of water surface and velocity distribution of circulating current. This paper summarizes the development of research on the above aspects. Comparisons of current used formulas and retated experimental data are also given. The best formula for engineering practice is sugested.
