Configuration and operation architecture for product service systems of CNC machine tools

To enhance and guarantee the machining functions of computer numerical control machine tools,and decrease machining cost,from the perspective of products utilization,a machine tool oriented product service system(CNC-PSS) based on the functions provision idea was presented,and system configuration and operation architecture was constructed.The architecture included a configuration subsystem,a scheduling subsystem and a service-supporting subsystem,with finishing machining tasks as the ultimate objective and enhancing and maintaining machining capabilities as the core.In addition,the key technologies of the architecture were also discussed in detail.Finally,an operation example was provided to verify the architecture.
