Application of controlled-release fertilizer to forcing culture of tomato using root-proof capillary wick.

防根給水ひもによる栽培は,排液を削減できるため環境保全的である.本栽培法において,肥効調節型肥料を培地に混和し,ひもでは水のみを供給する方法について,大玉トマト促成15段栽培における適正施肥量を知るために,窒素成分で11.3 gN/株(少肥料区),16.2 gN/株(中肥料区)および21.0 gN/株(多肥料区)の三段階で施肥量を検討した.多肥料区では塩類濃度障害の萎れ症状がひどく,12月末で栽培を打ち切った.可販果収量には中肥料区と少肥料区で有意差はなかったが,糖度は中肥料区の方が高かった.栽培終了時の茎径は,中肥料区の方が少肥料区より大きかった.培地中の養分残存量をみると,N,P2O5,K2Oについては両区とも与えた養分の全量近くを吸収したが,CaOとMgOについては培地への蓄積が認められた.少肥料区と中肥料区において,培地溶液の無機成分濃度は,生育中期以降各成分とも低濃度で推移したことから,培地溶液の養分濃縮はないと考えられた.以上のことから,窒素施用量で見た場合,大玉トマト促成15段栽培では株当たり16.2 gNの施肥が適量の範囲内であり,この量を基準とした窒素溶出量の平準化が必要であると考えられた.
