The purpose of the work that is presented in this article, was the numerical model of an internal combustion engine and the simulation of its combustion processes with a conventional diesel fuel and biofuels. The model was built and the simulations were performed in AVL’s multi-purpose thermo-fluid CFD software package. To validate our numerical model, measurements were carried out on an engine, type of RABA D10 UTSLL 190 type, EURO II diesel engine. The measurements and the simulations were carried out on 3 operating point. Diesel fuel according to the standard no. MSZ EN 590 as a reference, and it was compared with the standardized biodiesel (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAME)). The results of the simulations were satisfactory, further it is planned to investigate the characteristics’ of a non-standard biofuel. OSSZEFOGLALO A kovetkező cikkben bemutatott munkank celja az volt, hogy elkeszitsuk egy belsőegesű motor numerikus modelljet, es eges szimulaciot hajtsunk vegre hagyomanyos gazolaj es biodizel tuzelőanyagok egesere vonatkozoan. Az AVL multi-purpose thermo-fluid CFD szoftverenek segitsegevel alakitottuk ki a modellt, es hajtottunk vegre eges szimulaciot. A szimulacio validalasa, valosagos motoron tortent meresek vegrehajtasaval tortent. A meresekhez felhasznalt motor egy RABA D10 UTSLL 190 EURO II Diesel-motor. A meresekhez felhasznalt gazolaj megfelel a gazolajra vonatkozo ervenyes MSZ EN 590-es szabvanynak. A felhasznalt biodizel megfelel a biodizel tuzelőanyagokra vonatkozo MSZ EN 14214 szabvanynak. Az osszehasonlitasok eredmenyei kielegitőek. A kovetkező cel a modell pontositasa, es ezutan a szimulacio vegrehajtasa nem szabvanyositott biodizel tuzelőanyaggal
