Design and performance analysis of PSPK modulation for WBAN

In this paper, we analyze performance of PSSK (Phase-Silence-Shift-keying) modulation and proposed new PSPK modulation through extension of bandwidth. The implant device and wearable device is not requiring high data rate in early in-body communication systems. The capsule endoscope requires more than 10Mbps would supply high quality video also HD video is requiring 20Mbps. The proposed new PSPK modulation method is increasing performance of SNR through extension of bandwidth. This method is keep high bandwidth efficiency than FSK and above 9dB better than existing PSSK at BER10−6. This extension of PSSK modulation is satisfied with method the in-body communication system various requirement.
