Control System Simulation Development of Ammonia Production Process

The control system of the process of ammonia production is non-linear,time-varying,time-lag and uncertainty,and the ESD system iss also complex with complicated logical algorithm.Based on PIDs,SAMA and logic diagrams,using process control and configuration software,the automatic control system of ammonia production was simulated in the paper.First,the control system model was setup according to PIDs and SAMA.Then,the model was configured and tested.Finally,the system integration was done,and the ammomina production operator training simulator containing automatic control system was developed.The simulation results show that the simulated control system can reflect real plant's dynamic characteristics,and can be used in the integration with simulated dynamic model.When the fault or the large range of fluctuation occurs,the responses of the simulated ESD system are consistent with the actual states.The control system simulation is significant to the development of urea production operator training simulator.
