Channel Characteristics for Molecular Communication via Diffusion With a Spherical Boundary

Molecular communication via diffusion is a short distance communication technology in the field of nanonetwork using molecules as the information carrier. This letter study the analytical formulation of the molecular concentration distribution function of diffusion-based molecular communication within a three-dimensional closed spherical boundary which can be a perfectly reflective or absorptive boundary. Furthermore, we also give the analytical expression of the peak concentration time. The simulation results validate the theoretical formulation perfectly.
