Energy Management Method for Capsule Skip Reentry in First Entry

A new energy management method is proposed for the energy management problem in lunar capsule skip reentry. Firstly,a full bank angle method is adopted to accelerate entry energy management phase. Thereafter,the dissipation of energy is controlled and the energy at a bounce point is predicted at the same time to determine the right bounce time. Lastly,guidance command is designed to transit to the bounce point after the energy management phase. A reference trajectory guidance law is proposed to test validity and robustness of the energy management method. The numerical simulation results demonstrate that tracking performance for the reference trajectory is improved,both accuracy and robustness is improved by using the energy management method. Besides,oversize overload occasions in first entry and second entry are evitable.
