Design of tobacco automatic grading system hardware based on computer vision

A tobacco automatic-graduation experimental system hardware composition based on computer vision is introduced.The system for tobacco image acquisition and processing includes a single-lane conveyer,weighing system,vision system and an illumination chamber.The conveyer is used for handling and breaking up the tobacco leaves to the CCD cameras.The weighing system is used for weighting the tobacco,and sending the data to computer memory.The vision system is used for monitoring and collecting images of tobacco,and processing it in computer memory.The illumination chamber is used for providing uniformity and invariable illumination,and ensuring the image in focus.The preparatory examination results validate the feasibility of system,the assistant system and tobacco real time grading and decision-making algorithm will be developed in the subsequent research.
