Real-time motion compensation of an airborne UWB SAR

This paper reports the real-time motion compensation (MoCo) strategy of an airborne low frequency ultra wide band (UWB) SAR. The strategy contains three parts: real-time stabilization of the antenna to compensate the rotational error of the platform, real-time pulse repetition interval (PRI) adjustment to compensate the along-track motion error, and the across-track MoCo based on navigation information. Real-time imaging result of the UWB SAR is also present in the paper.
