I processi di innovazione nel sistema aerospaziale lombardo / The processes of innovation in aerospace system Lombardy

This research report is the result of the studies conducted in the Lombardy aerospace cluster on the innovation processes of firms. The study originates from the will to deepen our understanding of the innovation processes and practices occurring within and across the cluster, with a focus on the innovation networks. The first part of the study reports the main features of the Lombardy aerospace cluster and focuses on dominant business models, competitive dynamics and innovation practices. The second part introduces our methodological approach and focuses on innovation processes within and among firms, with an emphasis on client-supplier collaborations and the various innovation network forms. Finally, we conclude with a discussion of the main contributions of this study, suggesting possibile implications for the evolution of the aerospace cluster at the regional level
