The invention relates to an alarm device comprising an electronic payment terminal, in which the electronic payment terminal is adapted to be connected to a telecommunication network and comprises: a central unit; and- a program, stored in the central unit, adapted to send a predefined alarm signal via the telecommunication network. The invention also relates to the use of this device as an alarm center.
