"I will be not a nerd": children's development, the built environment, and school travel

Children's development is influenced by the layout of the urban landscape. Yet current design patterns of poor street layouts, inaccessible facilities, and vehicular congestion depict an inhospitable landscape for children --Conference held: Adelaide, South Australia, 28-30 November 2007
