Automatic color matching between stereo images

The aim of this paper is to give an overview of possibilities for the correction and methods for the evaluation of color differences in stereoscopic image pairs. Therefore, it focuses on the implementation and evaluation of automatic color matching algorithms. A correct evaluation of the image quality is essential for a reliable matching of colors in stereoscopic image pairs. Only then it is possible to calculate the initial situation of the two images and the success of a color correction.
