Operational strategies for energy efficiency improvement of CNC machining

This paper analyzes the energy consumption characteristics of CNC machining process and exploits the critical factors for energy efficiency improvement through a theoretical analysis, based on which a series of operation strategies are presented to enhance energy efficiency of CNC machining. A set of experiments are carried out to demonstrate the performance of the proposed operational strategies.
