Localization of Near-Field Sources Using Compressed Sensing

This paper focuses on the localization of the near-field sources by using compress sensing with array antenna. A novel step-by-step method is proposed for estimating the angle and distance of near-field source. Estimation accuracy of source location by the proposed method is evaluated by computer simulation.
