New technologies for improvement of characteristics in DSL access networks

This article describes technologies that enable more efficient use of copper-based infrastructure for DSL access technologies. Within this article, a review of DSM (Digital Spectrum Management), Bonding, Vectoring and Physical Layer Retransmission technologies is given, as a possible solution for optimization, increasing of capacity and density in DSL access networks.
