An optimal curve for choosing the number of zeros in an audiogram matching filter

Describes the relationship between the number of frequency sampling filter (FSF) zeros and coefficient quantisation errors implemented in 16-bit fixed-point architecture. An optimal curve for the number to match realistic audiograms and to improve the FSF performance is found and experimental results presented.
