Electric rotating machine, comprising a support (4, 5) holding a rotor (2) and a stator (3) of an engine, a heat sink (13) attached to the support (4, 5), a resolver (6) consisting a rotor (6a) disposed on a shaft (9) a stator (6b) surrounding the rotor (6a), and detecting a rotor magnetic pole position (2), a portion of stator circuit (14) and a field circuit portion (15) arranged on the sink (13) on a surface opposite to the resolver (6) and a control card (16) held on one side of the sink (13) opposite to the resolver (6) by a insertion housing (19) attached to heat sink (13) and electrically connected to the stator circuit portion (14) and the field circuit portion (15). An input-output resolver terminal (6c) is electrically connected to the board (16) by an insertion hole of the heatsink (13).
