All-day Detailed Continuous Simulation and Impact Analysis of Oltage Control Strategy for High Penetration Distributed PVBased on Voltage Control System of Real Distribution Network

Combining with the proportional distributed photovoltaic regional grids in a real park in China, three control strategies for constant power factor, variable power factor, and reactive voltage control of photovoltaic inverters were carefully modeled. Based on the OpenDSS simulation platform, a detailed simulation model of the park power grid with substation AVC system was built. Based on this, the system-level continuous control simulation of the park power grid was performed every 5 minutes throughout the day. Through simulation and comparison, the effectiveness of each control strategy and its impact on the existing distribution network AVC system are analyzed, and the superiority of the reactive voltage control strategy is verified. It can provide a scientific reference for the planning and operation scheduling of distribution networks after massive distributed photovoltaic grid connection so as to ensure the safe dissipation of distributed photovoltaics.
