PROGRESS REPORT NO. 33, 15 SEPTEMBER 1967 THROUGH 14 SEPTEMBER 1968, TO THE JOINT SERVICES TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Abstract : The report is the thirty-first in a series of progress reports, now issued semi-annually, which summarizes the research programs at the Microwave Research Institute of the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn from 15 March 1967 to 14 September 1967. The programs involve academic research activity of faculty and students, and cover a broad spectrum ranging from basic theoretical physics, mathematics, and engineering, to experimental investigations involving basic measurement, development of devices, and materials. Each activity reports in summary fashion specific results obtained during the period in question; the sponsoring agency for the activity is individually acknowledged. Contributions are compiled under seven headings: Electromagnetics and Waveguide Techniques; Quantum Electronics and Optics; Plasma Physics and Electronics; Solid State and Materials; Control Theory and Computer Science; Communications and Information Processing; Networks and Systems.
