Design of Mechanical and Electrical System of Glass-framer Scanner

The glass-frame scanner is an important part in the NC lens-edger system. It is used to measure the profile of the glass and provide the essential data for lens-edging. In the paper, the measuring principle of the glass-frame scanner is briefly introduced. Then the design proposal of the mechanical structure and the control system is presented.
