Influence of Water Conveyance Tunnel Diameter on Pressure at Draft Tube Inlet of Reversible Units Load Successive Rejection

Aiming at the influence of successive load shedding on draft tube inlet pressure during the regulating assurance calculation of transition process of water turbine in pumped storage power station with one tail race tunnel serving several sets,based on the choice of tunnel diameter of pumped storage power station,this paper draws a conclusion that different load shedding manner has different influence on the pressure of draft tube inlet;rejecting N-1 units' load firstly and then the unit with the longest tailrace pipeline is commonly the most dangerous operating condition.In addition,different water conveyance tunnel diameter has different improvement on the pressure of draft tube inlet.
