The Effect of Age on Satisfaction of Workplace Ergonomics in the Metal Industry

In this study the satisfaction with workplace ergonomics among different aged workers are compared to the researchers' observations. A U-shaped relation described the satisfaction of different age groups with the dimensions of the workplace and the physical load of the work. The oldest workers seemed to be “over satisfied” with the dimension of the workplace, the variability of the work and the repetitive work tasks compared to the researchers' assessment.
