Modal model validation for vibrating structures under non-stationary operating conditions

The paper describes the basic principles of a new model-data correlation method, and analyzes how this method achieves robustness w.r.t. non-stationary ambient excitation and operating conditions. This robustness is a highly desirable feature for a model-data correlation method.
