Future proofing your FTTH access network — topologies and technologies

Much of the architecture discussion for FTTH access networks has been focussed on Technologies — PON vs. Ethernet — with more or less implicit assumptions about fibre topologies. This presentation will show how the fibre topology remains the most static part and, therefore, represents the main aspect for future proofing the access network, and that technology decisions can be made independently and can even change over time if certain criteria for the topology are met.
