An Assessment of Cloud Computing and Mobile Cloud Computing in E-Learning

Cloud Computing is becoming a big bang to computing, both as a tool and as a service. This is an Internet-based ongoing technology which has brought flexibility in terms of processing power, capacity, and portability. It has realized service-oriented idea and has created a new dimension to the benefits to computing ecosystem. Moving one step ahead a mobile cloud computing (MCC) is enhancing the capabilities of cloud computing. Further, the e-learning is a case of virtualized education based on various means of mechanisms used in electronic communication and its usefulness to impart knowledge across the globe. Now when the learning procedures are becoming electronically modernized, it becomes imperative to evaluate its different factors. In this paper, a summary of detailed survey is mentioned, and it is showing the major factors of performance of cloud computing especially related to e-learning/distance-learning analyse. Because of limitation of building and analysis of real model, in the future, we will analysis and compare these results and observations through specified simulators like Cloud Analyst, CloudSim, and Green Cloud.
