An Automatic Method for Testing of FPGA Routing Resource

W275 the scale of FPGA became bigger and bigger, the cost of human and material resources for chip's reliability testing and screening also are getting higher and higher. In this paper, an automatic method for testing of FPGA routing resource is presented, by using the test method of definite-fault-diagnosis to analyze the architecture of programmable routing resource between tiles, and then connected the resource according to certain rules. It will automatically build the test cases, and reduce the time to build the test cases. At the end, using dichotomy to find the place of fault quickly. The advantages of this method are high coverage rate, failure identification and reorganization accuracy, excellent readability of testing program, high reusability, and so on.
