Conceptual Schema of Breast Cancer: The background to design an efficient information system to manage data from diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer patients

Diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer is a complicated task which is aggravated by managing the information generated during these processes. All this information would be much more useful if it would be correctly managed in an efficient and well-structured information system. A Conceptual Schema of Breast Cancer in which all the concepts of the domain of diagnosis and treatment of this disease are represented and related between them is the most adequate background for creating the information system required in the clinical units with breast cancer patients to manage their data efficiently and to take advantage of it.
