Fast computation of high resolution frequency estimates

This paper presents a fast method to compute high resolution frequency estimates. The technique is based on the theory of Rutishouser polynomials. It is shown that the quotient-difference algorithm can be used to accurately compute the frequencies directly from the data. An example is given that illustrates the algorithm's performance on a standard data set.
