Mathematical model of water injected into steam/air mixture determined for temperature control of flexible energy system

This paper deals with the description of cooling the gas used to drive the turbine unit of the power plant. It includes mathematical model of the heat balance regarding the mixture of humid air and water injected into this air, resulting in creation of so called power gas. Model of this mixer is embedded into mathematical model of the power plant, serving as one of the actuating term for regulation of this mixture in the power plant. Mixer model is implemented as S-function in Simulink environment. Turbines are basic elements of power stations for transfer of energy from heated medium to movement of generator. Their parameters and dependencies are crucial for design of the complex power system, which is composed of given function elements. This paper also presents a basic overview of turbines involved in Flexible Energy System.
