Design and Implementation of a Multi-Biometric Platform

Biometric technologies are proprietary and multiplex.In order to minimize complexity of biometric experimentation and study,a new multi-biometric platform was proposed in this paper,with which various form of biometric technologies can be integrated and evaluated.Based on the analysis of function requirements for biometric study,a three-layer logic model for the platform was put forward,and then a reusable and extendable platform framework-THBio was designed and implemented,which also provided general architecture for biometric evaluation and multi-modal biometric fusion.
