On the Calculation of Equilibrium in Time Dependent Traffic Networks

We analyse a method which has been recently proposed to give global approximation to time dependent equilibrium in traffic networks, but has not yet been applied to any concrete traffic problem. Moreover, we discuss in detail a class of problems for which the exact solution is available in order to compare the exact solution with the approximate one.
