Research on Assembly Waterproofing Technology of Prefabricated Utility Tunnel

Prefabricated utility tunnel is the key development direction of urban infrastructure in the future because of its greater advantages of quality, construction period, cost and other aspects, compared with cast-in-place method. For prefabricated utility tunnel, both of joint type and waterproofing construction could directly affect its function and normal operation. This paper introduces main types of prefabricated utility tunnels, and compares the performance of frequently-used waterproof materials. Meanwhile, the existing waterproof projects in prefabricated utility tunnel are summarized and analyzed, and the development trend of assembly waterproofing technology in the future is prospected based on the above research.
