Performance Evaluation of an MPI-Based Asynchronous BSP Model

Aiming at a kind of asynchronous BSP model(A-BSP),this paper estimates two main parameters of A-BSP model g and L in the environment of MPI on the DAWNING Cluster machine under the condition of different number of processor which adopts six communication modes in common model instead of h-relation.And it validates the correctness and the validity of the MPI program cost analysis,which makes use of the A-BSP model and the based on 2 FFT arithmetic according to the parallel method of the FFT.The results prove that the A-BSP model parameter g is 6.07×10~(-8) s·byte~(-1) and L is 1.47×10~(-4) s on the DAWNING Cluster machine.The change range of all the A-BSP model parameter is limited in some section and the communication mode influence the time of the h-relation is more visible than the number of the processor.The model of A-BSP is able to guide MPI parallel programming efficiently.
