초등학교 실과 기술 학습 배경의 성차에 관한 연구

This study was purposed to investigate the status of gender gaps in elementary technology learning and to development an effective strategy for girl students in elementary technology classes. The contents for survey were made up of criterion such as technology experiences(experience of curricular and extracurricular activity, concern of parents, field observation, computer), technology preferences(development process of technology, technology and human, technology and society, technology and environment, manufacture, construction, energy·transportation, information & communication), attitude about technology(recognition about technology, interest about technology), technology class pattern(class content, class method), class environment(classroom variable, motivation variable). The data were collected by questionnaires from 1,187 elementary students in 17 schools on a national scale analyzed by SPSS/PC+ package program. The major findings of this study were follows; 1. Girls who experienced in the activities for simple life supplies making out of the hobby activities more than their boy counterparts. 2. Girls who experienced in the activities for doll toy play and wood piece construction more than boys. 3. The activities related to manufacturing for the simple life supplies making and the simple wood product making preferred girls to boys. 4. The activities related to interior architecture for the house model making, the space decorating, arrangement box making, furniture arrangement preferred girls to boys. 5. Girls didn't like have the jobs related to the technology more than boys.
