In this paper, the performance of a lined duct with an axially segmented liners configuration was tested. The evaluation is based on a measurement of the multimodal scattering matrix by a method developed in the University of Technology of Compiegne. The comparison of several coefficients of the scattering matrix and the acoustic dissipation deduced from this matrix for segmented and uniform configurations pointed out the influence of the segmentation with regard to the source location as well as an increase of the efficiency of this kind of liner.
