Signal operation method for tram at divergent intersection

PURPOSE: A signal operation method for a tram at a divergent intersection is provided to improve safety at an intersection which is used by trams and general vehicles through interoperation with traffic signals. CONSTITUTION: An integrated signal control device(110) for trams detects entrance or exit of a tram. The integrated signal control device controls signals for operating the tram. A highway traffic signal controller(120) controls traffic lights and blocks entrance of a general vehicle when the general vehicle drives in the path of the tram. A tram signal controller controls tram signal lights(117) and a track switch controller.
