The Algorithm for Processing Signals of a Pulse-Phase Radio Navigation System in a Quasi-Differential Mode Using Signals from Global Navigation Satellite Systems

The article describes the main principles of the pulse-phase radio navigation systems, their types and comparison with global navigation satellite systems. The relevance of using pulse-phase radio navigation systems as an alternative to satellite is substantiated. The design features of receivers operating on the basis of pulsed-phase radio navigation systems for various types of navigation equipment of consumers are considered. The influence of interference on signal reception and methods of dealing with them are considered. The main types of operating modes of receivers as part of consumer equipment are studied. The choice of a “quasidifferential” mode for working on the signals of pulse-phase radio navigation systems is justified. Based on the mathematical analysis, an algorithm has been developed for processing signals of a pulse-phase radio navigation system in a quasi-differential mode using signals from global navigation satellite systems. An experimental assessment of the developed algorithm is given. The influence of time of day and weather conditions on the accuracy of determining the location by the developed algorithm is considered.
