A mathematical model for representing physiologic rhythms is present ed. The time series analysis involves combined linear-nonlinear chronob iologic windows with a combination of least squares methods. The method employs the chronogram and plexogram as classical descriptive statistical summaries and chronobiologic window serial and cosinor inferential statistical summaries based on the least squares fit of a single cosine function.
