On the boundaries of the centroid of a class of fuzzy numbers

This paper presents an application of the Chebyshev’s integral inequality to obtain the boundaries of the centroid of the class of singleton–core fuzzy numbers which are widely used in practical applications. An analysis of the obtained results is provided and some recommendations are given.
