Design of the PROFIBUS-DP Intelligent conversing interface

The connection between the industrial field equipment and the Profibus-DP network depends on Profibus-DP conversing interface.This paper describle the features、the structure and the protocol of Profibus in general.The steps how to develop Profibus-DP conversing interface is introduced too.Based on the structure of Profibus-DP networks,the hardware implementations and the software structure are designed respectively.At the end,the intelligent conversing interface based on SPC3 and MCU show a good performance in fieldbus control system.
