A novel eye-surgery simulator of glaucoma surgery with a bionic eye model

We present a surgical eye model for simulating task of glaucoma has a sclera model mimic the human sclera in both bionic, such as morphological characteristics and mechanical properties. We succeeded in fabrication of sclera model, using electrospinning technology, with elasticity of 13 MPa and with multilayer structure which mimic the human one. This model is suitable for medical doctor training or evaluation of medical equipment that used in glaucoma surgeries.
