Interpretation and Translation of Deixis

The paper discusses the relation between the context and deixis interpretation/translation,presents especially the points to be noticed in social deixis interpretation/translation in circumstances of semantic lacuna,and illustrates the considerations and settlement in deixis translation,especially in circumstances of semantic lacuna,which is to take the discourse as the translation unit.
