The monitoring computer systems applied to research on composting process in bioreactor

Fieldworks demand large engagement of resources and work in order to obtain representative results. However even with excellent methodology and perfect field experiment conducting there often appear factors (especially weather conditions) which can disturb the course or destroy the experiment. Therefore it is profitable to support the fieldworks with laboratory experiments. At the Institute of Agricultural Engineering of Agricultural University in Poznan it has been worked out the conception and built the bioreactor to research the organic materials decomposition process. The solutions applied in bioreactor (in particular thermal isolation and complex set up of sensors) allow to estimate very high its use to conducting the research and results reliability with reference to data obtained from fieldworks.
