İl ve İlçe Eğitim Yöneticilerinin Tabi Oldukları Rotasyon Uygulamasına İlişkin Görüşleri

The purpose of this study is to determine the opinions of city and county education leaders on the implementation of rotation that will be applied to them by the National Ministry of Education in terms of the benefits and disadvantages for both individuals and institutions. The data were obtained through interviews with education managers who work for Provincial National Education Directorate in Antalya and subject to rotation. Collected data were analysed by using content analysis. Although rotation brings dynamism for individuals and gives opportunity to have new information, it has some disadvantages like emergence of broken families and having difficulties with the new environment. Moreover, while rotation supresses the institutional blindness, adaptation of staff with each other and with new environment takes considerable amount of time. According to the managers, rotation should take place but it should not be done according to the existing provision
