Kalman filter in processing of vertical bridge deformations

This work presents the testing and processing of measurement data during the test loading of a bridge. The measurements have been made by means of the adjustment precise levelling method and GPS kinematical method. The data of GPS measurements have been processed with commercial software. They have been additionally filtered with self-tuning Kalman filter. The comparison of obtained results has made it possible to estimate the possibilities of applying kinematical method of measuring the movements in test loading of bridges.
